Τί μου κάνετε?
Εγώ εδώ.. Αρκετά ζορισμένος, αλλά καλά. Μην ανησυχείτε!
Παρασκευή σήμερα κι είπα να μην ασχοληθώ με κάτι βαρύ. Ας πιάσουμε, λοιπόν, το θέμα της Formula 1.
Για όσους δεν έχουν μάθει, τί έχει συμβεί, παραθέτω το σημερινό δελτίο τύπου της FOTA (Formula One Teams Association):
FOTA UNITED ON THE FUTURE
Silverstone, 18 June 2009 - Since the formation of FOTA last September the teams have worked together and sought to engage the FIA and commercial rights holder, to develop and improve the sport.
Unprecedented worldwide financial turmoil has inevitably placed great challenges before the F1 community. FOTA is proud that it has achieved the most substantial measures to reduce costs in the history of our sport.
In particular the manufacturer teams have provided assistance to the independent teams, a number of which would probably not be in the sport today without the FOTA initiatives. The FOTA teams have further agreed upon a substantial voluntary cost reduction that provides a sustainable model for the future.
Following these efforts all the teams have confirmed to the FIA and the commercial rights holder that they are willing to commit until the end of 2012.
The FIA and the commercial rights holder have campaigned to divide FOTA.
The wishes of the majority of the teams are ignored. Furthermore, tens of millions of dollars have been withheld from many teams by the commercial rights holder, going back as far as 2006. Despite this and the uncompromising environment, FOTA has genuinely sought compromise.
It has become clear however, that the teams cannot continue to compromise on the fundamental values of the sport and have declined to alter their original conditional entries to the 2010 World Championship.
These teams therefore have no alternative other than to commence the preparation for a new Championship which reflects the values of its participants and partners. This series will have transparent governance, one set of regulations, encourage more entrants and listen to the wishes of the fans, including offering lower prices for spectators worldwide, partners and other important stakeholders.
The major drivers, stars, brands, sponsors, promoters and companies historically associated with the highest level of motorsport will all feature in this new series.

Εν ολίγοις... Οι κατασκευαστές αποφάσισαν να υψώσουν ανάστημα και να θέσουν τα στήθη τους προ του ισχυρού ανδρός της F1 (ιδιοκτήτη της κι ιδιοκτήτη πλέον του 50% των πιστών) Bernie Ecclestone.
Ο τρισεκατομμυριούχος, 78χρονος, Bernie εδώ και 30 χρόνια θεωρεί την F1 κτήμα μοθ κι εκμεταλλεύεται τα ΠΑΝΤΑ.
Από εισιτήρια και διαφημίσεις μέχρι καπελάκια κι αυτοκόλλητα. Η συμφωνία που έχει κάνει με τις ομάδες είναι απλή: 50% των εσόδων εκείνος και 50% όλες οι ομάδες!
Για σκεφτείτε το λίγο.... Όσα χρήματα παίρνουν ΟΛΕΣ οι ομάδες από τα έσοδα για τη συμμετοχή τους, τα παίρνει ΕΝΑΣ μόνο!!! Είπαμε: τρισεκατομμυριούχος!!!
Κατά τη γνώμη μου, η κίνηση αυτή της FOTA δεν έχει ως αιτία το Budget Cup. Ήταν η κατάλληλη αφορμή, όμως.
Να εξηγηθώ: Budget Cup= Κάθε ομάδα έχει στη διάθεσή της 60 εκατομμύρια δολλάρια για να βελτιώσει τα μονοθέσιά της και να πληρώνει τους υπαλλήλους της. Εάν δαπανήσει παραπάνω θα χάσει κάποια δικαιώματα έναντι όσων τηρήσουν το Budget Cup,όπως π.χ. κάποιες μέρες δοκιμών...
Οι μεγάλες ομάδες ισχυρίστηκαν, πως είναι δικαίωμά τους να δαπανούν όσα χρήματα θέλουν για τη βελτίωση των μονοθεσίων τους. Δε δέχονται περιορισμό των δαπανών τους ή κατάργηση των ίσων ευκαιριών μεταξύ των μεγάλων και των μικρών κατασκευαστών.
Επίσης ήταν αντίθετες στην επιβολή του Budget Cup από τη μία χρονιά στην άλλη και στην πίεση του Max Mosley ( πρόεδρος της FIA ) για υπογραφή των νέων συμβολαίων των ομάδων με την FIA, με ισχύ μέχρι το 2012 και χωρίς να υπάρχει ουσιαστικό πλάνο κανονισμών.
Σημεία κλειδιά της ανακοίνωσης της FOTA:

- The major drivers, stars, brands, sponsors, promoters and companies historically associated with the highest level of motorsport will all feature in this new series.. Όλοι οι κύριοι οδηγοί, χορηγοί, εταιρείες και σπόνσορες θα ακολουθήσουν το νέο πρωτάθλημα της FOTA.
Προς αναμονή εξελίξεων, λοιπόν, αφού οι αιτήσεις για το πρωτάθλημα της Formula 1 για το 2010 πρέπει να παραδοθούν μέχρι αύριο....
Σημείωση: Η ζημιά για την Formula 1 είναι πολύ μεγαλύτερη του 1.5 δισεκατομμυρίων ευρώ, αφού και τα τηλεοπτικά έσοδα θα μειωθούν κατακόρυφα, μιάς κι αγώνες χωρίς Ferrari, MacLaren, Renault... δε θα είναι το ίδιο εμπορικοί...
